I do like that the human is mute (temporarily or permanently) while the animal talks.

It does raise the question of what the helmet actually is. How does an animal that was basically mindless a short time ago even understand the concept of a flower shop. If the knowledge came from the helmet, too bad it didn't also come with instructions for flying the ship.
